TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All orders are accepted on the following Terms and Conditions of trading:
Payments...
Payment is required at time of ordering and is acceptable by credit / debit cards: (Switch, Mastercard, Visa & American Express).
Ownership/Risk...
The risk of damage to or loss of goods supplied by us will pass to you when the goods are loaded on to the delivery vehicles at our assigned premises. We will not despatch the goods until we are in receipt of full payment in cleared funds.
Delivery...
Delivery is charged by weight and volume, the cost of which will be advised at time of payment. Delivery includes UK Mainland only please check if there are any additional charges to remoter areas of Scotland and the various UK Islands. Time for delivery is given as accurately as possible, but is not guaranteed, should the delivery be delayed by factors beyond our control.
Delivery Access...
Some goods may be delivered on a pallet, we will make every effort to unload to a suitable location, but this cannot be guaranteed. It is a customers’ responsibility to ensure adequate arrangements are made for the receiving and unloading of palletised deliveries. The customer should ensure that delivery access is reasonable and that the items ordered will fit through access ways, e.g. doors, passages, lifts and that there are no obstacles to hinder delivery. We are unable to make deliveries where the conditions would jeopardise the safety of the delivery driver.
Damages/Delivery Errors...
We endeavour to ensure that all our products are delivered in perfect condition. In the event of any delivery damage we ask you to inform us within 24 hours of delivery. Please keep all packaging and the damaged item, we will then be able to take this up with our carriers and make sure a replacement part or item is despatched to you at the earliest opportunity. If any of the goods have been used, or are unavailable for collection, in certain circumstances Ampersand Lifestyle will not be able to replace them. Our carrier personnel will ask you to sign for the goods confirming that the goods have been received in good condition and complete. Should there be any claims for short or wrongly delivered items, please notify our office on 01423 329135 quoting your Sales Order reference number, within 1 hour of receipt of the goods and confirm in writing. If this was noted at time of delivery please make sure that the paperwork has been amended and signed as damaged / item missing.
Returns Policy...
Ampersand Lifestyle would hope that you are entirely satisfied with your furniture order. If for any reason you change your mind before the goods have been despatched we reserve the right to offer you alternative product up to the same value. If you wish to return an item once delivery has been made you should notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery. All return delivery costs will be borne by the customer and there will be a restocking charge of 5% of the value of the returned items (minimum £20) and we will offer you a credit note to the remaining value (95%) to put towards another product. For collection of the item reasonable access should be allowed. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Prices...
We reserve the right to increase/decrease prices regardless of any existing price list at any given time. Prices will only be accepted as firm, upon official receipt of an order by Ampersand Lifestyle Limited.
Description...
All descriptions and particulars furnished in the price literature and other documents issued by us are as accurate as possible. All dimensions and measurements are approximate. We reserve the right to change products and specification without notice.
Complaints...
We aim to provide you with high quality goods and service. If, however you feel that you have cause to complain, please contact us and we will try to do our best to solve any problems that arise.
English Law...
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law.
